Work-Readiness skills in the Habitat sector

Aim of the course:

This course serves as the starting point of the MOOC Work-Readiness Skills for WBL through XR, framing employability and work-readiness as core dimensions of vocational performance in the Habitat sector.

It explores how technical competences, soft skills and professional attitudes combine to enable effective participation in professional environments such as construction, design and sustainable building.

The course also explains how Work-Based Learning (WBL) bridges education and industry, using applied learning examples in real or simulated settings, and lays the groundwork for later modules in which XR-supported training further strengthens these competences.

1. Understanding work-readiness as a combination of technical competences, soft skills and professional attitudes required in the Habitat sector.
